We can arrest citizens who peacefully protest. We can arrest citizens who violate "park rules" in public spaces while exercising their First Amendment rights. We can arrest citizens who have very valid reasons for committing acts of civil disobedience because our politicians really don't listen unless we get in their faces and raise hell.

But we can't arrest bankers and other corporate criminals who crashed our economy and defrauded Americans, leaving millions homeless and in poverty. 


This is our American democracy as it now stands. And there is no denying that things are going to change.

Americans and other citizens of the world are going to take their countries back from the corporations. We are at the starting line now. . .and the shot has just been fired.
